October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As all of us know by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. With ¼ million new cases diagnosed each year in the US alone, it is likely we are all touched in one way or another by this terrible disease.

Thanks to the American Cancer Society and dramatic improvements in cancer research, treatment and early detection, millions of women are surviving breast cancer today. But that research takes money. Lots of it. To help do our small part, last year we launched a line of products we named “Cuffs for a Cause”. These print BP cuffs were designed to allow our consumers to show what matters to them and for ADC to make a financial contribution to important causes, like Breast Cancer Awareness.

Our Hearts and Ribbons cuff print was such an overwhelming success, that we expanded the program for 2015. In addition to the 12 different professional sphygmomanometer models featuring the iconic print, we’ve added Mini-Medicut shears with the same print and a special edition Adscope 603, with striking metallic pink tubing. Normally 5% of the proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society but during the months of September and October we’ll double that donation.

And to take it even a step further, we’ll be giving away one of these products each week during the month of October to one lucky person that likes us on Facebook. As an added bonus, we’ll donate the full MSRP to ACS.
