Company Overview

American Diagnostic Corporation (ADC) is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of diagnostic medical products, personal instruments, and accessories for the healthcare industry. For 35 years, we’ve been dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and supplying stethoscopes, blood pressure instruments, and other core diagnostic products that provide an unmatched value proposition with a purchase experience that is second to none.

Mission Statement

To produce feature-rich, ruggedly built, value-priced professional diagnostic medical instruments for the healthcare marketplace while maintaining a stable, dependable employment environment for our associates and trading partners.

Bringing together their knowledge of the medical device industry and its needs, Marc Blitstein and Neal Weingart co-founded ADC in 1984. They shared a vision of a company built on long-lasting partnerships with the best component manufacturers in the world, while committing to significant production and quality processes in the United States. The result is a company that's flexible, enterprising, and more able to work with vendors and customers.

Our products are marketed under many brands, including ADC®, Medicut™, Adscope®, Proscope™, Diagnostix™, Prosphyg™, Adtemp™, Multikuf™, Adlite™, Pocket Pal™, Responder™, Adcuff™, System 5™, Adflow™, Adview®, E-Sphyg™, and Adimals®. We also manufacture products under original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and private label contracts for more than a dozen of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors in the acute care, alternate site, nursing, extended care, student, and EMS markets. In fact, ADC is the largest privately held branded and private-label supplier of stethoscopes and blood pressure instruments in the United States. Our products are sold on six continents, in over sixty countries, and are in use by thousands of healthcare institutions and millions of healthcare professionals worldwide.

Today, our 44,000-square-foot facility in Hauppauge, New York, houses our corporate offices, customer service, quality control, manufacturing, and distribution departments. Sales offices in London, England, and Tokyo, Japan, service our European and Pacific Rim distribution. Additional quality control and sourcing offices in Taipei, Taiwan, and Ningbo, China, oversee ADC's Asian manufacturing facilities.
